Changing the Modem Speed (MAC OS X)

To change the modem speed on MAC OS X:

1. Click on the phone icon and choose Open Internet Connect...
   
2. Click Edit.
   
3. Click on the Modem tab and change the Modem setting to Apple Internal 56K Modem (v.34).
   
4. Click Apply Now.

Changing the Modem Speed (Windows)

To change the modem speed in Windows:

1. Click Start > Connect To > Show All Connections to open the Network Connections folder.
2. Select the icon for the number you are calling, then click the Change settings of this connection link.
   
3. Under the modem name, click Configure.
   
4. Choose a slower modem speed, then click OK.
