Additional Software available to Faculty

If you would like to request that additional software be installed per the requirement of either your major or an instructor please refer to the Additional software checklist below. If you have any additional questions regarding the operation of installed software you may consult the Tutorial section under Software or contact the helpdesk via a Problem Report Form for assistance.

If you are an instructor and wish to have any of the following software titles installed for use in your class please fill out a Software Installation Request Form.

Keyed Software

Software listed above with an asterisk (*) indicates that it has been Keyed. For piracy-proof license control, an application can be "keyed" so that unauthorized copies will be rendered useless if removed from the network. Keyed applications can be distributed freely throughout a site without risk of piracy.

To use keyed software: First, connect to the NMU network (either dial-in or ethernet connection); Second, launch the keyed application you want to use; Third, you can stayed connected or disconnect from the NMU network to use the application. Remember, you must connect to the NMU network first before you use keyed software.
