TLC ThinkPad Training Videos
The training video will provide you with the basic setup of the NMU issued IBM ThinkPad. After viewing the video, you may use the Restore CDs issued with the ThinkPad. You will also be able to connect to the on-campus wired or wireless network, or off-campus using the NMU dial-in service. Once connected and registered, you will be able to send and receive email, surf the Internet, and access NMU network resources.

One World Beat Concert
A Northern Michigan University communications class produced a benefit concert for AIDS orphans in Africa, featuring a renowned African musician and two local bands. The One World Beat benefit dance concert was held Saturday, March 20, 2004 at the Landmark Inn. All proceeds go to the Global AIDS Alliance - Keep a Child Alive project, which provides life-extending medicine to children and families with the HIV/AIDS virus. One World Beat is an initiative created by the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), featuring more than 150 concerts in 40 countries to help in the fight against AIDS. Marquette is joining a group of participating cities worldwide including Tokyo, London, Amsterdam, Geneva and Chicago.
